THE CHILDREN'S BOOK PROJECT
The project centers on synthesizing course themes into a fully-formed story intended for a child audience. This serves as the year's culminating transfer task (assessment) as it calls on the student to produce an original work that shows a strong understanding of the material and an appreciation of perspective as it relates to a young reader. Upon completion, students will read their stories to the children, students, and instructors in the Early Childhood Careers shop.
